As a disabled parent, you may feel isolated, on trial or having to prove you are a "good" parent. You may also feel there is not enough useful information, advice or support to help you? You are not alone, as we know of others who are or have been in a similar situation! DPN can provide information, advice, peer support and contact with other Disabled parents throughout the UK. A locally developed joint-working protocol can help agencies to improve services for disabled parents according to new guidance launched today [1 August] by the Social Care Institute for Excellence (SCIE).
