This guide aims to highlight some of the difficulties facing disabled parents of teenagers, and how practitioners can support them. It also looks at what parents say helps them cope with their teenagers, and some of the joys they experience as parents.

It is aimed at any practitioner who is working with disabled parents. Practitioners may be running parenting courses, one off regular events for parents, or providing advice services to parents.
